Kenney, Hinshaw to blame for COVID situation

The Covid19 epidemic, the fourth wave, has reached disastrous levels. Alberta had 2000 cases in one day. It is a catastrophe and we know who is fully responsible for bringing it on to us.

My heart goes out to little babies/children and their parents, who are going through hell because many life saving surgeries have been cancelled indefinitely.

How do you bear the pain of not knowing if your child is going to survive his/her illness ?

Premier Kenney and Deena Hinshaw have brought us to this horrible situation. The health care system has already reached a breaking point, hospitals are overflowing, ICU has no more capacity to deal with other emergencies like heart failure, strokes and many other life threatening conditions. The nurses, doctors, aides caring for Covid patients, are at the brink of collapse with exhaustion.

Kenney and Hinshaw believe that saying that they are sorry for their mistake (in fact it is a blunder!!) in lifting all restrictions as of July 1 is an adequate response to the trauma they have brought to patients whose life saving surgeries are cancelled, doctors, nurses and aides in the hospitals. Will their apology bring back those who died ,take away anxiety and desperation from parents of children, and kin of adults whose surgeries have been cancelled placing them in danger?

Every sensible Albertans, and most medical experts like doctors had warned Kenney not to abolish all restrictions against the spread of Covid.

He had made the same blunder earlier causing waves of the epidemic again and again.

Some one who has so much difficulty in learning from his mistake is not competent to be our Premier.

If Kenney and Hinshaw are truly sorry and have a conscience they should show the decency to RESIGN.

Disaster is huge, suffering is more than huge. Let some one else, hopefully more competent and wise, take over who will listen to the advice of expert doctors.

AND, the selfish and irresponsible anti-vaccinators and anti-maskers, should look deep into their own conscience and take some responsibility. Eighty to 90 percent of Covid patients are unvaccinated.

Go get the vaccine for God’s sake unless you have a medical reason not to.
