Lethbridge high schools kick off food drive

On Monday, Lethbridge School Division schools kicked off the Second Annual Tri-High Hunger Games food drive.

Chinook High School, Lethbridge Collegiate Institute and Winston Churchill High School are competing to see who can bring in the most food and money donations to the Interfaith Food Bank.

The drive runs from Nov. 29 until Dec. 10. The final weigh in will be on Dec. 10 at 1:30 p.m. at the food bank.

The three participating schools are taking donations in their buildings through special Christmas-wrapped boxes. Those interested in supporting the food drive can also donate directly to the Interfaith Food Bank, and let the staff know what school the donation is for. This can also be done for monetary donations as well, which can be made through the Interfaith website.

Donations are accepted until Dec. 10.
